Antares SCT Micro-Focuseur à crémaillère et pignon 2" (FGLPS)

The focuser was just what I needed to stop all the image shift in my older Meade 10" SCT. I now have a very easy time focusing and a fine focus nob. The product is well built and installed directly to my scope, it has made a big difference in my planetary focusing, no image shift! I ordered this focuser from Astronomy Plus to see if it would help with the difficult task of focusing an older Meade 10" SCT with image shift. I was so impressed with the quality when I unboxed a very solid focuser, I was very excited to give it a try, with the weather not being very cooperative I didn't know how long I would have to wait, but as it happened I had a brief opportunity to try it out the day I received it. What a game changer, my focus has never been better, smooth and solid with no shift. Even though conditions were very poor I was able to capture this image under terrible seeing conditions. I will be adding an electronic focuser to this little gem soon.
