Baader T-2 / 2" Nosepiece

Threaded for 2" filters on the telescope side, this Baader Nosepiece Adapter contains both M48 and T-2 thread on the eyepiece/camera side for better versatility. The 3 mm long T-2 thread makes this adapter an excellent choice for contemporary camera models, lengthening the optical path by 3 mm.

In order to ensure compatibility with a range of telescope configuration options that continues to grow larger and larger, Baader Planetarium has designed their latest T-2 and M48 components in accordance with the new T-2 standard thread depth of 3 mm. With the old 5 mm T-2 standard, this compatibility simply could not be achieved. This is the reason modern cameras have such short optical heights compared to older models.
