Unleash the potential of your Questar 3.5 with Tele Vue’s 1¼”. Just add the Tele Vue 1.25″ Questar Adapter to use any of the Tele Vue 1¼” eyepieces: Plössls, DeLites, Panoptics, Delos, Naglers and Ethos!

  • Experience a greater range of magnification and quick-change capability.
  • Discover improved resolution, color correction and contrast due to the multicoating, blackened lens edges, and new designs.
  • The threaded eyepiece barrels accept Nebular and other filters, if desired.
  • And, with fields of view up to 100°, diffraction limited anywhere in the field, your Questar 3.5 finally delivers the magnificent capability inherent in its design and construction.

Getting the Most From Your Questar 3.5

The aperture opening in Questar eyepiece holder limits the true field of view in eyepieces with large field stops. However, compared to the 24mm Questar supplied eyepiece, the Tele Vue 19mm Panoptic has 17% wider true field and the 24mm Panoptic has a 30% wider true field, even with vignetting limiting its potential.

Overall, we recommend the Delos 10mm and Panoptic 19mm. While all1¼” TVO eyepieces can be used with the Questar, only the following will focus in the finder mode and offer parfocalization (no need to adjust focus when changing eyepieces) as well.

Getting the Most From Your Questar 7

For 7″ Questar models that accept 2″ eyepieces, we recommend 27mm Panoptic or 22mm Nagler Type-4 (both have about same true field size), 20mm Nagler Type-5 and 17mm Nagler Type-4.
