SkyMax 127 Reflector

This Sky-Watcher 127 mm Maksutov-Cassegrain is 12.5” long (15" with the diagonal installed) and weighs 9.7 lb. with accessories, but it uses a large 5” lens system to do the job of gathering light so you can see faint objects millions of light years away. The 127 mm reflector will gather 55% more light than a 102 mm. The classic long focal length of f/12.1 will give you inky dark background skies so that celestial targets stand out beautifully. This SkyMax OTA comes with a vixen-style dovetail which can be attached to most standard astronomy mounts.

The 25th Anniversary Virtuoso GTi mount GoTo technology effortlessly navigates the night sky. The tabletop alt-az base can automatically slew to over 10,000 celestial objects using the free SynScan app. This app also features user-friendly tours and information on the objects you are observing. With Sky-Watcher’s patented Freedom-Find™ technology, you can unlock the clutch and adjust the mount manually without losing alignment!
