Rouz Astro OTA Balance Offset Kit

The Rouz Astro OTA balance offset kit is ideal for fine tuning unbalanced telescopes caused by things like filter wheels, focus motors, guidescopes, and etc.

Carbon fiber tube with aluminum alloy clamp, attaches to the Rouz Astro dovetail clamps.

The stainless steel weights are threaded and stackable, they can slide anywhere alone the carbon fiber tube with multiple connection options to the clamp.

Optional upgraded Carbon Fiber clamps are heavy duty, tests shown in product galley.

It is recommended to upgrade to the carbon version if there are more than 1x counterweights being used.

Please ensure the correct clamp is selected – Losmandy or Vixen.

  • Extra strength and stiffness with carbon fiber tube (on all versions)

  • Aluminum alloy tube clamp with multiple connection options, infinitely adjustable without any tools (thumb screw)

  • Stackable stainless steel weight

  • Engineering grade, Carbon Fiber composite material on the upgraded carbon fiber version

  • Base clamp can be orientated for East-West or North-South balance

  • Lightweight components, 150grams (without counterweight) – Only add weight where its needed
