The HAE29 is a lightweight, versatile, dual alt-azimuth/equatorial mount. Weighing less than 8 pounds, this small mount has an impressive payload capacity of 29.7 pounds! Additionally, the HAE29EC features a high-precision RA axis encoder that delivers extraordinary tracking accuracy. Best of all, no counterweight or shaft is needed! This iMate model mount features a powerful 64-bit ARM based on-board computer with WiFi, preloaded KStars planetarium software, Ekos control, and automation tool with INDI drivers.

The hardware/software combination will support the use of most current and future devices allowing user choice of brand and model cameras and accessories. The 32 GB eMMC storage along with a slot for an up to 64 GB TF (micro SD) memory, the iMate has the ability to control and capture an entire automated imaging session. The iMate is cross-platform; use it with WIndows, iOS, Linux, Android, etc. All HAE iMate dual SWG Alt-az/EQ mounts now have an internal main board and no longer require a handset for use.

The HAE29 features strain wave gear technology for the movement along both the right ascension (RA) and declination (DEC) axes. This high performance allows for an excellent weight-to-payload efficiency. With a rugged, all metal, CNC machined body, the HAE29 also features an electronic friction break and power-down memory. This allows the mount to stop and resume a GoTo slew or to continue tracking even after an abrupt power loss, with no need to realign and begin from the beginning.

A dual Losmandy/Vixen-style (D/V) saddle allows for a wide range of connectivity options.
