JTW FireANT Ultra Portable Harmonic Drive Travel Mount

Ants are nature's powerlifters and our own ANT is no exception. It boasts a 15 kg payload. The ANT has backlash-free harmonic drive derived from our larger Chimera mount and is the premium edition that will redefine portability. The FireANT has dual axis encoders is backlash-free. This system is ultra portable and the mount head fits inside the tripod for compact transportation

The entire system fits inside a 12 cm diameter x 40 cm tube and weighs under 5 kg, thanks to the carbon fiber/aerospace aluminium construction. An optional 5 kg ballast weight is shown under the tripod. One step beyond the ballast weight is a powerbank that functions as a ballast weight and provides through-mount power. This system is small and light enough to go in a backpack, airline carry-on luggage, long hikes, etc. There's even room inside to store accessories and an optional powerbank.
