Artesky Guidescope UltraGuide 70mm 

The guide scope is extremely necessary when doing astrophotography, the UltraGuide is a telescope with a focal length of 400mm for a ratio of F/5.7, ideal for instruments with a medium or long focal length.

The 31.8mm focuser allows you to use the UltraGuide both as a finder and as a guide scope, in fact it is equipped with a T2 thread to allow attachment to most guide cameras on the market.

What makes the UltraGuide 70mm different from other guide scopes on the market?

The UltraGuide 70mm has been carefully selected among different models for better optical quality and greater robustness due to the body completely in aluminum. In addition, the helical focus is the great strength of this instrument, it allows two types of focus: a less precise but fast one and a second micrometric one thanks to the particular focuser, in this way you will have the perfect focus in an instant!

With this instrument it is possible to guide up to 1500mm of focal length, even higher focal lengths up to 1900mm can be reached! This is impossible with other telescopes in its category!

The back-focus up to 41mm allows a very comfortable focusing of both the most demanding eyepieces and of the majority of cameras on the market (QHY, ZWO, ALTAIR ASTRO, etc)

The UltraGuide 70mm guide telescope thanks to its helical focuser, always maintains the correct orientation of the inserted camera; using the focus system, the camera does not rotate and this function is essential for correct use with autoguiding software (such as PHD)

The helical focuser has a maximum stroke of 12mm while the fast focus system has a maximum stroke of 70mm.

Included in the price of the telescope you will have rings, with three screws with Nylon tips, offset and adjustable that will allow you to have greater precision of the instrument.

The telescope is complete with a mini Vixen bar, compatible with various bases for finderscopes, some of which can be found among the related products, however we recommend the Altair Astro Universal base; otherwise you can conveniently connect it to a clamp and apply it to any Vixen or Losmandy bar.
