4K Dual-Lens - Wide View, See It All
A dual-lens system with 4K wide-angle and telephoto cameras, elevating smart telescope imaging to a professional level. Powered by a telephoto IMX585 sensor (1/1.2", 4× larger light-sensitive area vs. S30) and a wide-angle IMX586, it delivers 4× higher resolution, lower noise, and cleaner, more natural image quality.

Four Imaging Modes - Built for Astrophotography
From distant galaxies and glowing nebulae to the Milky Way in motion — from planets overhead to landscapes below — Seestar S30 Pro captures every perspective in 4K Ultra HD.

One-tap Milky Way & Star Trails
The Milky Way stretches across the frame, and star trails trace the slow motion of the sky. It supports astrophotography time-lapse, revealing the vastness, rhythm, and beauty of the night above.

8K Milky Way Stitching — One-Click Mosaic
The Seestar S30 Pro’s built-in Milky Way stitching automatically creates horizontal or vertical mosaics, expanding the field of view far beyond a single frame while preserving ultra-high-resolution detail.

Freeze the ground, Two Worlds in Perfect Focus - Lock the landscape. Let the sky move.
Seestar S30 Pro intelligently separates the foreground from the stars, keeping the Milky Way sharp and free of trails while preserving a crisp, natural landscape — all with a single tap.

Intelligent Constellation Recognition, Read the Stars with One Tap
Seestar S30 Pro instantly identifies and labels constellations in your view, revealing how stars connect into familiar patterns — clearly, naturally, and at a glance.
Looking for your zodiac? With one-tap GOTO, Seestar automatically locks onto your constellation, removing complexity and letting discovery feel effortless—even the first time.

Vast Celestial Targets. Stargazing Simplified.
With access to 80,000+ deep-sky objects and 600,000+ stars, simply select a target in the app and the Seestar will automatically locate, track and capture. Get stunning cosmic images in minutes.

Notes
- As a precision optical and electronic device, a smart telescope may be damaged if dropped. Please avoid drops and impacts.
- Image results may vary depending on light pollution conditions, parameter settings, and stacking duration. Actual results are subject to real-world shooting conditions.
[1] At 1×, both the telephoto and wide-angle cameras capture images at 4K (3840 × 2160) resolution. Resolution decreases at 2× and 4×. The real-time live preview stream for both cameras is 1080P.
[2] Milky Way imaging requires dark-sky conditions. In areas with higher light pollution, the Milky Way may not be clearly visible. Actual results depend on on-site conditions.
[3] NFC: The smartphone must support NFC to use this feature (only some newer iPhone models support NFC reading; older models do not. Android support varies by manufacturer—please refer to your device specifications). To use NFC, the telescope must be powered on, the phone unlocked, and Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, and GPS enabled on the phone. NFC sensitivity varies due to differences in phone NFC antenna position and size; please identify your phone’s NFC sensing area. After changing the Wi-Fi name, the phone must manually update NFC information; otherwise, NFC may not function.
[4] Due to system usage and storage chip allocation, the actual available storage is approximately 100 GB. System updates may affect storage allocation. Please refer to actual available capacity.
[5] Under laboratory conditions at 25 °C, battery life is measured at approximately 6 hours in Stargazing Mode (with image enhancement and object tracking enabled), and approximately 4 hours in Scenery Mode video recording (no object tracking, MP4 format). Data provided by ZWO Laboratory for reference only; actual performance may vary.
[6] 60 s long exposures are supported only in Equatorial Mode and are not available in Alt-Azimuth Mode. Long exposures place high demands on tracking accuracy; precise polar alignment is required in Equatorial Mode to ensure accurate tracking. Inaccurate alignment may reduce imaging efficiency. Actual performance depends on conditions.
[7] When observing the Sun, a solar filter must be installed. Do not allow the main camera to observe the Sun directly, as this may cause permanent damage to the device.
[8] Intelligent noise reduction refers to optimizing noise and star point quality in actual astrophotography images. It enhances real captured images and does not generate synthetic or AI-created images. This product captures real astronomical images only; no AI-generated images are produced.
[9] Wi-Fi transmission range data is provided by ZWO Laboratory, measured at 20 meters in an open outdoor environment with no interference. For reference only; actual range depends on real-world conditions.
[10] If sudden weather changes occur during scheduled imaging (e.g., cloud cover, rain, strong winds), the planned task may not be completed, and the device will not automatically power off. Please confirm actual weather conditions before scheduling an imaging plan.

The ZWO Seestar S30 Pro is a compact, user-friendly smart telescope that makes deep-sky astrophotography surprisingly accessible. Its 30mm quadruplet APO optics and dual Sony sensors (IMX585 + IMX586) deliver sharp 4K images of nebulae, galaxies, and the Milky Way with minimal effort. Setup takes minutes: point it, select a target in the app, and it handles focusing, tracking, and stacking automatically. Ideal for beginners and casual imagers who want beautiful results without the complexity of traditional gear. Highly recommended.
Awesome tech! Still learning but already tracking deep sky objects and lots of great pics of the Moon…just need more clear skies!
So Glad I took the plunge, I was struggling with staying excited about astrophotography but being able to step outside and image this easily has rekindled the joy for this astronomer!
Hi there, thank you for your review! We are thrilled to hear that our ZWO Seestar S30 PRO has reignited your passion for astrophotography. We always strive to make our products user-friendly and convenient, and we are glad that it has made a positive impact on your experience. Happy stargazing!
It was a small learning curve, but I have been enjoying my new telescope. Its been fun and I look forward to many more years of using it. Thank you!
This Smart Telescope is simply amazing. I mean AMAZING !!! I like to push to the maximum gears that I buy for photography, and now Astro-photography. I don't know if this review will allow me to show an image but let me tell you about the process.
I took a 2 minute video of a nebula. C39 to be precise,
Then II processed this Collinder 39 image taken with the Seestar S30 Pro (yes really... 2 min exposure).
I didn’t generate an artificial image. I applied an extremely condensed and optimized version of a classic PixInsight workflow, executed in a highly efficient way:
Precise background gradient removal (clean DBE equivalent)
Selective noise reduction (NoiseXTerminator style)
Very aggressive non-linear stretch using Generalized Hyperbolic Stretch (GHS) + Arcsinh, especially pushed on the deepest shadows to reveal the maximum amount of reflection nebulosity and diffuse gas
Highlight protection to limit clipping on bright stars
Mild deconvolution (BlurXTerminator style)
Color balance and selective enhancement of the blue nebulosity tint
The entire process is based exclusively on the raw data of the image. No structures were added or invented.
It is the equivalent of a full PixInsight workflow (DBE → NoiseX → aggressive GHS → BlurX → curves + selective saturation), but highly optimized and applied in a single smart pass. This allows getting a very pushed result in just a few seconds instead of dozens of minutes of manual tweaking and iterations.
(insert photo here) lol I don't know if this app allow photos. We'll se when I click NEXT.
Cheers
Hi there! Thank you for your enthusiastic review of the ZWO Seestar S30 PRO All-in-One APO Smart Telescope. We are thrilled to hear that you are enjoying your experience with it and that it has exceeded your expectations. I can see the image you uploaded and it's amazing.
Clear skies and happy stargazing!
It’s been cloudy or freezing since I received my telescope but last night was clear and I got a 2 hour exposure of Orion. It came out very nice
I've used it a total of five times since purchasing it.The 6th rime, I get the red flashing power. I get an error saying wifi abnormality and it will not power on if I'm not reset it will not do anything. I've been working on it for about two hours and getting nowhere.
We’re sorry to hear about your experience. We received your email overnight and will do our best to help resolve the issue with support from ZWO. Thank you for your patience.
This little gem is phenomenal and I look forward to trying it under Bortle 4 skies!
Produit facile à utiliser
J'adore facile à utiliser
My son loved this telescope. He is an astronomy enthusiast with a special interest in stars.
Un méchant upgrade sur le S30…. Je l’adore…
Buy this! It's worth it. The hardware just works, and it's perfectfor for travel too. The only issue is ZWO's app it's too bus, and it freezes up sometimes. It's annoying, but not annoying enough to NOT buy it. They'll figure it out.
Les premières expérimentations sont très satisfaisantes pour un amateur qui en est à ses premiers pas. Tellement simple d'utilisation.
I bought this to add to my original s30. Very easy to use, and nice wide images. Have yet to try milky way mode, but I am sure it will be great.
Astronomy Plus kept me informed on my pre order and always answered any questions I had during the waiting period. So far I'm enjoying my new Seestar S30 Pro even though its been cloudy almost every day since I received it. Astronomy Plus is certainly a 5 star astronomy store with 5 star service. They certainly value their customers and that's what really counts for me.
