Refractor Telescopes

Refracting telescopes are known for their ability to provide sharp, high-contrast, and accurate images, making them a popular choice for planetary observation and bright deep sky viewing. Their simple design, based on a lens system, ensures stable operation and minimal maintenance, while offering excellent optical quality right out of the box.

There are two main types of refractors: achromatic telescopes, which use a pair of lenses to partially correct chromatic aberration and offer excellent value for money, and apochromatic telescopes, which use low-dispersion lenses for complete color correction, particularly prized in astrophotography and demanding planetary observation.

Refractors are suitable for both beginners and experienced amateurs. Their focal length and ability to deliver stable images make them versatile instruments, suitable for visual observation and astrophotography.
