The ColourMagic 3nm Deep-sky Narrowband Filter Series is specially designed for astrophotography, comprising three filters—Hα, SⅡ, and OⅢ—to help you overcome environmental limitations and capture pristine, detailed cosmic views.

The ColourMagic 3nm Narrowband Filter features an extremely narrow bandwidth and excellent transmittance, allowing you to capture high-contrast, low-noise deep-sky images even in areas affected by urban light pollution, atmospheric airglow, or other stray light sources.   This makes faint nebula structures and subtle stellar details—often difficult to reveal—easily visible.

ColourMagic 3nm SII Filter

The ColourMagic SII Narrowband Filter has a center wavelength of 672nm and also offers over 90% high transmittance.   It is specifically designed to capture emission nebulae, planetary nebulae, and supernova remnants that emit SII light.   

The deep red emission from SII differs distinctly from the surrounding H-alpha radiation, revealing different structural details in each region.   Thanks to its 3nm narrow bandwidth and high light transmission, the ColourMagic SII filter significantly boosts image contrast and enhances the definition of celestial structures.

ColourMagic 3nm H-alpha Filter

The ColourMagic H-alpha filter is an ideal choice for capturing nebulae and supernova remnants containing H-alpha emissions.   It has a center wavelength of 656.5nm with over 90% peak transmittance, its 3nm ultra-narrow bandwidth effectively blocks light pollution and airglow.   

Even in heavily light-polluted areas, it delivers high-contrast images, while under dark skies, it further enhances the structural detail and tonal depth of your targets.

ColourMagic 3nm OIII Filter

The ColourMagic OIII Narrowband Filter is well-suited for imaging objects emitting OIII light, with a center wavelength of 500.7nm and over 90% transmittance.   

Its 3nm narrow bandwidth effectively blocks light pollution and airglow, ensuring clean, high-contrast images in a variety of shooting conditions.   Additionally, the filter's specially optimized optical construction helps suppress halos， resulting in finer, more rounded star images.
