Had to drill, enlarge the 2 holes to fit my vintage 1990 Celestron Classic C8.
Otherwise great product.

the dovetail is fine and sturdy but...

the dovetail is fine and sturdy, but it is not possible to place it anywhere along the edges of the telescope if one also has the smaller thinner dovetail. It is designed for holding the telescope on the mount, and not so much for adding accessories on it, although it can be done with other mounting accessories. Probably best to get a third party dovetail with all of the mounting holes on it.

Parfaitement compatible

Cette barre d'aluminium s'installe facilement sur un Celestron 8. Les trous sont parfaitements alignés avec les trous du tube. Belle finition et très rigide.
