The warranty on the manufacturer website prevail on the one described here, which is only indicative and that might change without prior notice.

For the purpose of these warranties, “catalog” refers to filter products which appeared on the Chroma corporate website as a catalog product at the time of purchase.

Lifetime Warranty for Sputtered Catalog Filters:

Chroma extends a lifetime warranty against defect under normal use for all sputtered filter in our catalog (excluding sputtered metal filter). This warranty provides for the replacement of the original product with the same product, or with an equivalent product if the original product is no longer manufactured by Chroma.

5-Year Warranty for Sputtered Metal Catalog Filters:

Sputtered metal catalog filters are warranted against defect under normal use for a period of 5 years following the date of purchase. This warranty provides for the replacement of the original product with the same product, or with an equivalent product if the original product is no longer manufactured by Chroma.

3-Year Warranty for Other Catalog Filters:

All other catalog filters are warranted against defect under normal use for a period of 3 years following the date of purchase. This warranty provides for the replacement of the original product with the same product, or with an equivalent product if the original product is no longer manufactured by Chroma.

1-Year Full Satisfaction Warranty for All Catalog Filters:

In addition, all catalog filters are covered by a one-year full-satisfaction warranty. Chroma will replace, exchange or refund any catalog filters for a period of one year following the date of purchase, for any reason.

Non-Catalog Filter Warranty

For the purpose of these warranties, “non-catalog” refers to filter products which did not appear on the Chroma corporate website as a catalog product at the time of purchase, including OEM and Custom products.

5-Year Warranty for All Non-Catalog Sputtered Filters:

All non-catalog sputtered filters, including sputtered metal filters, are warranted against defect under normal use for a period of 5 years following the date of purchase This warranty provides for the replacement of the original product with the same product, or with an equivalent product if the original product is no longer manufactured by Chroma.

3-Year Warranty for Other Non-Catalog Filters:

All other non-catalog filters are warranted against defect under normal use for a period of 3 years following the date of purchase. This warranty provides for the replacement of the original product with the same product, or with an equivalent product if the original product is no longer manufactured by Chroma.

Chroma reserves the right, at its sole option, to issue a credit note for any defective filter as an alternative to replacement. These warranties are nontransferable.

EXCEPT FOR THE WARRANTIES STATED HEREIN, NO WARRANTY, CONDITION OR REPRESENTATION, EXPRESS, IMPLIED, ORAL OR STATUTORY, IS PROVIDED, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY WARRANTY, CONDITION OR REPRESENTATION OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. CHROMA SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL, EXEMPLARY
OR INDIRECT COSTS OR DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LITIGATION COSTS, INSTALLATION AND REMOVAL COSTS, LOSS OF DATA, PRODUCTION OR PROFIT ARISING FROM ANY CAUSE WHATSOEVER, REGARDLESS OF THE FORM OF THE ACTION, WHETHER IN CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), STRICT LIABILITY OR OTHERWISE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH COSTS OR DAMAGES.
