Lacerta Warranty
9. Warranty
9.1 Unless otherwise specified for individual services or products, the statutory warranty of 24 months applies. Beyond the statutory warranty, the manufacturer's specific warranty details apply. Within the warranty period, defects in devices or accessories due to material or manufacturing defects will be rectified free of charge through repair or, at our discretion, replacement. Damage to accessories does not automatically entitle the free replacement of the entire device. Breakage of glass, cracks, and fractures in plastic parts, dents in metal parts, etc., are generally chargeable. Warranty services do not extend the warranty period nor result in a new warranty.
A purchase receipt serves as proof of warranty. Without this proof, free exchange or repair cannot be provided. Wear and tear parts (e.g., motors, amplifier tubes, lighting units, batteries, drive belts, gears, etc.), cleaning, maintenance, or the replacement of wear and tear parts are not covered under the warranty and are chargeable.
In case of a warranty claim, please return the complete device in its original packaging along with the receipt to your retailer. The warranty becomes void in the event of unauthorized intervention.
9.2 The limitation period for statutory defect claims is also two years.
9.3 Refunds in cash are only provided if a defect is reported within 3 days of purchase (for online purchases, refer to the cancellation policy, point 10.2) and a replacement is not possible.
9.4 Minor deviations in quality, color, width, weight, finish, or design that are customary or technically unavoidable cannot be contested.
9.5 In the event of a legitimate complaint, the customer's costs will be reimbursed. However, if returned goods show signs of use or damage, we reserve the right to assert compensation claims. The customer must bear the cost of depreciation unless the depreciation is exclusively due to the inspection of the ordered goods as would have been possible in a physical store.
