The Meade Series 5000 25mm HD-60 telescope eyepiece provides a large 60° apparent field of view and a flat field of view which is tack sharp right to the edge. This six element design provides 19mm of eye relief for terrific viewing comfort while simultaneously delivering a 40% improvement in corrections for chromatic aberration and edge distortions over traditional Plössls. The optics are fully multi-coated with premium-grade and exotic optical glass for the best possible performance and image brightness. Blackened lens edges further enhanced contrast and minimize glare and light bounce.
