Takahashi Wooden tripod for EM-400 / JP-Z mounts

Takahashi is one of the few manufacturers that still makes classic wooden tripods for its mounts. These tripods are particularly vibration-damping, and they also look very classy. These wooden tripods are not height-adjustable, and this is also the advantage, the tripod leg is made of one piece of wood, no clamping where twisting occurs. They are offered in four different heights so that everyone has the right height for their equipment. For example, the low SR-S is good for a Newton, the very high SR-LL for long devices like the TOA-150 or the FS-152.

In principle, tripods do not have to be exactly horizontal, the polar adjustment is made in azimuth and altitude on the mount. For those who still want to align their tripod precisely, Takahashi offers leveling discs.
