Solar filters for telescopes

Solar filters for telescopes are essential for safely observing or photographing the Sun. First and foremost, you will need one if you don't want to damage your eyes. These filters greatly reduce light, filter out ultraviolet and infrared rays, and protect your instrument, allowing you to enjoy the Sun safely.

There are different types of solar filters, depending on what you want to observe. Some are placed directly in front of the telescope's lens or aperture, while others can be attached to the eyepiece. Front filters are generally preferred to ensure safety and optimal image quality. With these accessories, it is possible to study the photosphere, sunspots, granules, or even follow planetary transits and partial eclipses.

Whether you are an amateur observer or a passionate astrophotographer, solar filters for telescopes allow you to capture accurate images of the Sun and observe its phenomena with maximum safety and comfort.

Explore our selection to find the right solar filter for your telescope and solar observation projects, as well as other accessories such as solar wedges, solar telescopes, Quark filters, double-stack filters, and standard filters to complete your equipment and tailor your solar observations to your needs.
