Description

Losmandy AZ8 Alt/Az Mount with Tripod

The Losmandy AZ8 Alt-Az Dual Head Mount: Scott Losmandy's reputation for precision design and production of mounts is upheld by the AZ8 model. Constructed from black anodized aluminum with stainless steel components, the Losmandy AZ8 Altitude-Azimuth mount features fine needle bearings and high-quality 7075 aluminum worm gears to ensure smooth, precise, and controlled motions. Accurate maneuvering of both axes is achieved with two slow-motion knobs and 3.5" laser-engraved setting circles simplify setup and tracking.

The Losmandy AZ8 is a dual saddle Alt-Azimuth telescope mount now with configurable options to configure your AZ8 the way you want it. Exacting engineering for lasting performance, the AZ8 dual telescope mount is constructed of black anodized aluminum with all stainless steel hardware. Features like 360 degree slow motion control, precision brass worm gears and a variable slip clutch make the Losmandy AZ8 a stand out choice for a portable, manually controlled Alt-Az telescope mount.
