AstronomyPlus sent me a different version from the one they were showing intheir web site.

"Quality injection molded from high impact ABS material with a 50% reduction in material use compared to previous versions"
Explanation: Telrad went the cheap path to safe on material, keeping the same price. The new design is weaker and wiggly.
I bought it from Astronomyplus thinking they had the old good version (they were showing the old version in the photos and then updated it), but I received the weak new one.

helps a bit with neck strain

i have the 4 inch riser and it assists a bit with neck strain. I also attached it to a 2 foot extension further forward on my scope (diy) to get easier behind it. It will help a little bit. it is plastic but sturdy. attachment to rigel is easy.

Very Handy

Although not as illustrated, this is a very handy thing to own. The riser fits securely and accurately on the standard base lifting the Telrad sight into a more comfortable position for the user.
