Solar filters for telescopes

Solar filters for telescopes are essential for safely observing or photographing the Sun. First and foremost, you will need one if you don't want to damage your eyes. These filters greatly reduce light, filter out ultraviolet and infrared rays, and protect your instrument, allowing you to enjoy the Sun safely.

There are different types of solar filters, depending on what you want to observe. Some are placed directly in front of the telescope's lens or aperture, while others can be attached to the eyepiece. Front filters are generally preferred to ensure safety and optimal image quality.
