Svbony SV241 Astronomy Powerbox

I would have given this 5 stars, but its DC input is 5.5x2.5, which meant I had to get an adapter to use a 5.5x2.1 power cable from the saddle of the AM5N to the SV241. They should include such an adapter along with all the other cables. Not a big deal; ordered off AliExpress for a couple of bucks.

As a power distribution box, it works just fine! I like the powered USB port for my light panel for flats--means not fussing with equipment already using the ports on my mini-pc.

This is the second unit I have purchased as I am replacing my older Wanderer Astro lite units because I needed a second usb3 port. this cost a way less and function's just as well. For the price I can live with a little larger unit. Works for me.

A nifty little powerbox that solved a consistant problem. I had been having issues with powering an autofocuser but this really well built easy to understand powerbox fixed the problem, it also allowed me to plug my dew heater in and realiably get it working. I've burned through a few due to mismatched amperage from a phone charger plug which I basically put down to cost of telescoping in Winter.No more. Very little thought needed, Got a do-dad? plug it in and away you go. You will want extra cabling for powering the mount or camera depending on your model as the one provided is small, but usable. I needed longer for the EQM35's odd drive motor config, but overall for the price I paid from AstronomyPlus this cannot be beat.
no faults found, easy to attach, plug n play, good DL rate, no glitches.

I bought 2 from svbony directly. After 2 sessions my eaf connected to usb 2.0 stopped being seen . No solution so far

If all you need is power distribution and a good USB hub this is a great device. I'm using one on my solar rig where I don't use dew heaters.
